Happy to know you haven't taken offence, as your comment does hint at that.

Traditionally, South Asian cultures - and especially the current Indian culture - do sexualise and objectify women to an uncomfortable extent. I do believe that this is more in Indian than at other places I've visited and lived at, including 2 other continents.

As a woman living in India, that is the reality I see. I'm writing down my opinion. If you don't see it that way, please go ahead and have your own opinion. But do let me have mine, please? Thanks.
