I can relate to pieces of your experience.

In my 20s, I used to save like hell. I never went on those impromptu trips like my peers did. Never bought 100S sandals like my colleagues did. Never took hair spas. Never got my nails done.

There's so much I just didn't do because I needed to save that money to be able to afford my emotional freedom.

Now, when I look back at all those years of stifling myself for a treat, I head over to Steve Madden and enjoy that cup of cocoa. Why the hell not?!
