I haven't had the sam luck as you but I'm learning to be okay with it.

I write for a very basic reason: to keep my sanity intact. On my worst day, I journal for an hour and that helps me get through. But to turn that into a deadline based business is something I'm not prepared to do yet.

The act of writing a piece is still a place where I don't want to get out my hawk eye like I'm negotiating legal fee. I'd use that eye to hone my content. So, I've got to be content with whatever Medium gives me.

I'm so happy that excellent writers like you get a chance to earn in 1000s on Medium. All too often, my work doesn't get accepted in many publications. I don't have that specific 'native speaker's tonality' which is promoted everywhere on Medium. I've learnt to be okay with that, too.

Such is life. A never-ending carousel of acceptance.

Will check out Miyah Byrd for sure. :)
