Oh, absolutely. I watched this lovely documentary on Netflix, titled as Minimalism. https://www.netflix.com/title/80114460

One of the concepts that they showed during the movie was Project 333, something that gained a lot of traction. Essentially, you just own 333 clothes and you make combinations out of it throughout.

I used to buy a lot of high street fashion during my early 20s. Slowly, I realised that buying clothes is not a hobby. It’s draining, and the most startling thing is ~ it streses you out. The more choice you have, the less confident you feel about what you would look good in.

Now, I own few but better quality items that go on for years. I repeat them over and over, in different combinations. It fuels my creativity and gives me another outlet to feel good about myself.
